Janel went on to learn how to play the guitar and drums as part of her childhood education & began writing songs.
Transitioning to high school she began singing The National Anthem for basketball and football games as well as singing at local festivals and competitions. Janel even once auditioned for Americas Got Talent in her Freshman year of high school and performed a customized rendition of “Feeling Good” for her class of 2013 high school graduation. Here she performed in her first and favorite musical to date, “Little Shop of Horrors” alongside “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, & “Halloween Horror Show”.
